When the bite slowed down, I picked up the ned craw and got lucky with this nice 4lber. Pitching close to the rocks and hopping it down.

Look for main lake wind blown points, 1/4 turn on the reel for best results. Fish are being caught higher in the water column. Have fun and be safe on the water.

Found largemouth in 6-8’ of water in and around standing timber. Small schools of bass were concentrated around more dense areas of standing timber. Most fish were 1.5–2.0 lbs. lake is 6.5 feet low. Hoping for some big rains to fill the lake.

Simply working rocks around the lake. Fish pretty much within 10’ of bank. Caught a few spotted bass as well as largemouth. Great time to be fishing. Warm weather expected the next few days.

Second to last stop on our Colorado Kayak Bassmasters tournament trail. Basically, the start of fall. Shad everywhere. Started the morning fishing rock, and managed to pull one decent one and one small one off some isolated rock using a wiggle wart and a jig. However, they hadn’t fully pulled onto the rock just yet. Figured out they were sitting on grass edges and stump edges by throwing a Jackhammer around every possible piece of cover I could find. Managed to pull off 3rd place and was catching fish throughout the day, just couldn’t make the 3/4” upgrade to pull off first place.

Cedar bluff Ks is an awesome lake to visit. Great lake to have a tournament on . I targeted brush piles with slightly staind water. Flipping and pitching to outside brush piles in shallow water. There are lots of big trees to flip as well. Have fun and be safe on the water. 2lb Bass are comon with a bonus 4lb have been caught.

The body of water was in fall turnover which made the water dirtier and the fish scattered. The bass were relating to wood and grass lines feeding on shallow bluegill as well as chasing bait in open water.

The fish were suspended beneath the floating docks in 20 to 24 feet of water. The lake looked a little off- color from normal. With partial clouds and a light wind. I caught 15 with the best 5 around 12 LBs. the retrieve was a slow steady speed about 6-8inches below the surface.
