Walleyes are just completing the spawn and are still up super shallow. They’ve been chasing schools of perch that have been spawning around shallow short weed patches. A 1/4 oz jig and 3 to 4” paddletail have been working great to catch these fish, especially around bite windows in the morning and evening.
