The water has come up with snow melt and the water temps dropped from over 60 degrees to the mid to high 50’s. The bass have moved into heavy cover in flooded trees and bushes. They weren’t hitting reaction baits so we switched to Texas rigged worms on a 3/16 ounce weight. We were throwing into flooded trees and next to bushes on hard cover and gravel bottom in the middle to the backs of coves. The bass we got were in 3-8’ of water. The water is pretty stained mid lake where we fished so we were throwing darker colors. Both river ends were chocolate milk and so we stayed mid lake.
