Canyon Lake is a clear lake most of the time. Spinnerbaits will catch bass most of the year. Best around laydowns and submerged trees. Run the bait over the tree limps and make contact to trigger bites. Swimbaits and grubs can be used as trailers. A slow seedy retrieve with occasional flicks work with spinnerbaits.
