It was a finesse fishing type of day so I went with about the smallest and lightest jig set up I could cast effectively to cover shallow flats with some rock. Areas around obvious points dropping to about 6ft were best. Rage Ned was the ticket with all appendages flapping freely and some orange garlic Spike-It on the tips of the tails. Slow but effective day on some quality smallmouth.
