Second time ever going to brushy and was trying to figure something out. Stormed the day before and was going to storm later this day. Tried cranking dt10 and dt14 through trees but never came up with anything. Not seeing much on livescope either. Ended up going shallow and flipping laydowns and throwing spinnerbaits around cover. Had our best luck in the really small cuts that were 10ft or less. They would hammer it right when it hit the water. The Berkeley spinnerbait got destroyed by 2 musky and multiple bass and is still going strong.

Females where starting to crash the shallows starting to spawn in small waves. The bite was slow but if you could get a female to bite she was solid. You had to fish through lots of buck males to get to a good female though. There was 8+ feet of visibility so you would have to make long casts but it was worth it.

Tough day, 10+ft of visibility which I’m not used to fishing. Caught a few small bass on a ned rig and one on a jack hammer. Could see some nice ones cruising the shallows but didn’t want anything to do with what I was throwing.
