The morning bite is hot right now and definitely more productive than the afternoon bite. It’s difficult to beat a spinnerbait and a jig for targeting those bigger bites.

One of the most brutal days on the water. Fish are wanting to push up but the weather is wishy washy right now. I caught fish on a 1/2 oz Wrecker Baits Tarantula jig as well in my rotation. Typical spawning behavior. Fish the backs of pockets slowly and efficiently the weather has them locked jawed.

Caught quite a few on the Hack Attack jig and the new Divine Spinnerbait from 6th Sense. We threw Texas rigged speed craws but the jig out weighed the Texas rig in quality bites.
