I had a couple bites on a shakey head but the fish really wanted to chase something. I through a bladded jig and a spinnerbait and they were eating the spinnerbait.

I found a small school of smallmouth chasing and feeding on shad in the backs of pockets and I was able to catch 3 just trying to work on my Livescope skills. There were definitely some fish underneath docks and on the bottom I just didn’t have any success catching them with any bottom contact baits.

The shakey head I was using isn’t on the website, but it was a 1/2 oz Wrecker Baits Check Casher Shakey Head paired with the Zoom speed craw. Caught a couple in the small amount of time I was out there but this one below is a beaut!

We caught over 20 largemouth with a combination of a spinnerbait and a traditional Texas rig. The key with the Texas rig was dragging it slow and being patient .

They where pushing a ton of current and we was drifting with a DT10 to keep contact with the bottom and was catching smallmouth every other cast

I found a ton of bait fish in the middle of creek pockets and I tried throwing a-rigs, swim baits, minnow style baits, but they liked the one knocker the best!

A lot of fish are still feeding and schooling up in the water column. I wanted to try a top water but couldn’t put the spinnerbait down. The water was almost 53 degrees in the backs of pockets.
