The bite was sporadic through out the day. But definitely started to pick up the last hour and a half to 2 hours. Most was caught on a jerkbait and a few on the umbrella rig.

The crappie bite was pretty good today, caught 30-40, all but 2 or 3 were keepers. But looking forward to getting some big ones.

The bite has slowed down quite a bit for me in the last couple of times out. The only thing I've been able to catch them on is the spro bronzeye 65 frog. Throwing in and around laydowns and over hangs.

Right now we are in the fall transition period which can make the bite tough at times, this outing definitely proved that. The bites were few and far between. But I did mange to catch a few fish, with the biggest fish being a 19.00" bass. Although I marked fish on my livescope all day. The fish I caught was either near rock in shallow water with access to deep water close by or on the wind blown side of laydowns.

I caught several fish throughout the day, with the biggest fish of the day being a 21.50" bass late in the evening on a spro bronzeye popping frog 60 in the killer gill pattern. I worked the frog along the side of the rip rap. I worked the frog in almost a walking pattern like you would a spook to keep it in the strike zone as long as possible. Finally hooked up on my personal best frog fish.
