Very tough tournament Saturday. Water temp went up 4 degrees over the week but day of the event it snowed in the morning and the wind blow 25 mph all day so it was tough. Fish were tight to cover in very shallow dirty water in the back of small pockets. Fishing a green pumpkin jig very slow.

Placed second in a tournament here on West Lake with 17.11lbs and a big bass of 6.13. Caught our fish all on frogs up in a foot or 2 of water. Key was finding warmer water since a huge cold front blew in the night before.

Pretty simple fishing. Fishing standing timber that you could see with your eyes. Most of the bites were in 5-10ft of water. Most of the time you could see on livescope if there was a fish on the tree.

Couldn’t catch them on anything but a buzzbait tonight. Caught a bunch of small ones on a neko rig too but the quality came on the buzzbait. Placed 4th in a little Wednesday nighter.
