All you need to know about a square bill is reel it as fast as you can and then pause it where you think the fish are. The faster you reel and the more sudden the pause usually the more aggressive the strikes.

Get back in those pockets and far little cuts next to main lake points were the bass are transitioning. Cought em moving wayyyyy dirt shallow nose to wood on a spinner bait just chucking and winding. Was in mostly dirty water that had warmed to 50-54 degrees
