We had a hot spell lasting 4 days. The 5th day it had colled down a little and I was throwing a crusher football jig in grass craw color with a Rapala crush city craw trailer letting it rest on the bottom slowly pulling it to me then reeling the slack.

Throwing an Og slim actually it was a 6ft crank bait.Slow cranking to chop crank to let it clip the bottom and cause a disturbance. Crappie couldn't resist.

Fast rip to a stop then a little chop chop. Repeat. The 6th sense jerkbait is only a 3.5 inch long dives 3 to 4ft finesse style. But seems the crappie in the river are set up on isolated structure right on the edge of the current.
