Early morning is the best bite. You can catch big fish throwing frogs and top water over the submerged vegetation. Slow twitches and long pauses caused the strikes. Hit the weed edges after with soft plastics Texas rigged worm 1/4 oz weight pegged.

Pulling crank baits or spinners over patches of broad leaf weeds worked. It was a difficult bite, most anglers were getting not much. Also found little guys in about 10' of water over a mid lake hump.

Water temps in mid 60s, few bass left on beds, lots of nice bluegills up shallow around docks. Bass bite was very tough. Thr few we caught were tempted fishing wackynrigs shallow around any cover in shallower bays and canals.

Work along buoy lines in about 6-8 ft of water looking for weed edges mainly milfoil and you’ll catch the tons of bass

Bass could be found on rocks adjacent to weedlines. We caught most bass working jigs slowly. Throwing heavier jigs will also allow you to cast farther and maintain bottom contact in windy conditions. The biospawn exostick in red bug with a chartreuse perfect ned seemed to be the ticket
