Had a decent day on the water. Caught biggest fish of the day on a jig worked slowly in standing timber close to creek channel. The overall best producer was a drop shot worked slowly in the standing timber tho.

Very windy, cold day. While Prefishing found them good in brushpiles but nothing very big, tournament day they had moved and it was a very tough bite but they wanted the Berkley general on a heavy shameyhesd near the standing timber and letting the strong wind kinda just blow my shaky head through the timber. This 5.5lber took big bass and and helped us get 3rd with almost 13 limit of 5 fish, 14lbs won this HS derb

Fishing is still really tough right now, found a couple brush piles that were holding a couple fish each. Caught 1 deep cranking under schools of crappie.

Weather was very windy, cloudy and had random showers. Water temps were about 55 mid lake and climbed up to 58 at the upper part of the lake. The early morning bite was hot with larger bass being caught in the shallows on a black/chatterbait and squarebill crankbaits. Bite died off as the winds picked up and temps lowered. All bass were fat and it was obvious they’re getting ready for spawn.

Very tricky today on 12 mile. Caught one decent one first cast deep cranking but couldn’t get another bite on the crankbait the rest of the day. Dropshot around standing timber got multiple bites, all very small though.

Very stingy fish right now, caught one first cast deep cranking under neath the seemingly never ending schools of crappie, and then couldn’t get a bit rest of the day unless it was on a drop shot fishing slow around standing timber, lake is very low so a lot of bank structure is out of the water or to shallow to fish, caught around 7-10 fish but none were very big
