We had a warm front with warm rain! The wind went from blowing out of the south, to straight out of the north!! Not a whole lot of fish caught today at all! Also for once this year the weatherman was 100% on about it raining all day long!

Found most of the smallmouths either on the flats before the drop off stuck to a rock pile or bush pile or in the deeper part of ditches! Some were in the middle part of the ditch and some schools were in the back part of the ditch, right before the elevation started to come up! They were in schools of 3 to 30+, but they were stuck right up against the structure or cover that they were on!! You could slow roll that pulse fishing skipper head and you would see them pop up off the bottom or stumps, rocks, and BAM!! The fight would be on!! Just slow this time of year but the fish still gotta eat!! Caught a few good ones and a bunch of small ones!! Not a bad day for the wind blowing east to north east.
