Edges of laydowns around creek channel. Casting upstream and slow reeling to keep bait suspended and letting current create action. Aggressive bites with bass grouped up on isolated structure.

All catches were fish that pulled up to the bank and were sitting under overhangs and around submerged brush. Skipping wacky rigged senkos gave the best hookup rate and provided obvious bites.

Fishing shaded banks provided few but quality bites. Post frontal conditions made things a bit tougher than previous outings but when the fish bit, they were nice fish. Largest of the day was a 22" 6.1lb largemouth that was sitting on the shaded side of a newly installed concrete piling near the dam.
