I found them on 2 underwater points that were right next to each other with a deep crankbait. It seemed like they had the perfect combination of sparse grass and rock for cover as well as the hard/high spots of the points for structure. It was one of the only places on the lake I could get bit as the brushpiles were not productive for me. Fun day on the water!

Right when I got on the water I noticed small, bite-size bluegill were cruising along the deeper weedlines, so I knew right away that was the forage. Picked up the rage bug and that was the end of it. Was able to find a decent pattern which was pretty cool on a lake this small and in unusually clear water. Even found some crappie and bluegill on a brush pile for the frying pan! Can't complain, good spring day!
