Found some fish chasing schools of bluegill on a point with hard bottom and submerged veg.. Started fishing the school by popping the hair off the bottom to catch larger fish. After the bite got tough I switched to a jigworm to produce many bites.

Early Gill Fishing is some of the most fun all season, locate some Bull Rushes and start fishing the outside edges and move in as you follow the bite. Tip your jig with small leaches, worms, or corn. I like using the weighted bobbers as they cast like a rocket and takes less pressure to pull down. Good Luck

Great numbers of bass have moved to the weed lines. Points and steep drops were the ticket today, keep moving until you get bit, then slow down when you find the fish.
