Look for the reeds with rice around it. Look for minnows and other baitfish in near the reeds and rice and you will find the bass. If you're not seeing baitfish keep moving until you find them.

Minnows
In structure off the edge of the basin in 25 ft, the crappies would suspend in the teens. Reeling down gently with this heavier type bait after you first drill the hole will typically create a strike from the biggest bully in the group in this case a nice 14”r. Then you may need to downsize shortly thereafter for continued action in that hole or just keep hole hoping with it. Good luck! :)

Lily Pads
Look for areas of rice that have small lily pad patches reaching the surface. The key ones are the areas of pads that are 20' x 20' and surrounded by rice and other weeds. The pad roots are a little deeper and the bass use the area to nest and hang out. Cast a stickbait into the pockets and let it sink and also a frog over the top is getting fish to blast it.
