Water was pretty dirty and fish were up shallow. I caught a few on the chatterbait in shallow pockets coming over the top of logs with an erratic retrieve. Pretty sure the ones I caught were making beds for the spawn, based on fresh blood on the tails.

I was actually throwing a Megabass V9 spinnerbait, but that bait is not listed in this site. Fish were in windy points and pockets with small clumps of grass - they seemed to be staging on the edges between clumps. If there was laydown wood cover, even better
