North and South Center can be a really fun lake to fish in the fall. Like any lake, fish can be on all types of cover this time of year and they are on the move. A good starting point is finding the best green weeds you can find, or pads that are still visible. I throw a frog around these areas in the fall and it can produce some big fish. With the lower water there is some milfoil that is still topped out. If this does not produce, I like to throw a lipless crankbait, or squarebill and rip them out of the weeds. Recently I have been throwing the the 50X by 6th sense. Comes through anything well and stock hooks are excellent.

Moved back and forth between deeper open water and the deepest weedline we could find. Mixed waxies and soft plastics as jig trailers, if one option seemed to be losing the interest of the fish we'd switch and usually get a few more bites before having to move to the next spot. Used LiveScope in forward facing mode to track schools and then used down mode to allow the two of us to fish next to each other off of one graph.

Was fishing a pick up tournament with some friends. Went south of the lake and was trying to punch and frog the pads for Bass but could not get much of that going. Trolled the boat around and saw a pad to cat tail transition and tossed my white terminator swim jig. Upon the first few cranks, i was able to catch a hog!

Fished a green horn tournament on south center and majority of the fish we caught were on weed lines next to pads. Caught around 20 fish within 30 minutes doing this throw your wacky rig on edges of the grass or pads. Also caught a few on frogs in the pads, couldn’t get a bit anywhere besides in the pads and weed lines by the pads.
