Fished in 25 fow and found many dink perch and a few jumbos. Best bites was on a Swedish Pimple tipped with either a perch eye or minnow head. Other jigs with perch eyes also worked.

Larger fish remain elusive as the bay is full of small perch, plus many schools of shad. The deeper water has produced best for larger perch, and pike remain very lethargic with the amount of baitfish present. Spoons tipped with a minnow head have worked best for the larger perch.

Flipping grass flats and targeting the thicker clumps. Trying out the new Mustad Alpha Point Assault Hooks and so far so good pretty comparable to the usual VMC HD ringed hooks I use for flipping submerged grass as far as hook placement goes!
