Holding tight to cover, get away from pile about 15 ft and cast over and let the bait fall through the zone. If brush pile is deeper then 15ft then you can get right over the top without spooking the fish.

Find brush in deep creek channels around 10 to 20 ft and jig the bait above the structure. Keep the bait very still, you don’t need to move the bait at all, just dead stick it.
