Find brush in deep creek channels around 10 to 20 ft and jig the bait above the structure. Keep the bait very still, you don’t need to move the bait at all, just dead stick it.

Targeting standing timber, throw past the timber and swim it right up to the log and then pause, or you can throw it past the log and make it hit the log as you swim it by and they will hit it as soon as it thumps the log.
