very slow day, not many bites, tried several colors, didn't seem to matter the fish were taking the bait very soft and then would run towards deep water,. threw several different baits and colors, ended with a nice 7-8lb northern which summed up the day. Ned rig slid very slow and let it sit seem to be the technique that worked best.

Fish were on small main lake points with a grass to weed transition. Dragging a football jig caught fish and I was able to clean up a couple extra bites with a neko rig. Both smallies and largies

Look for humps with coon tail 13-17ft water, a little bit of movement with the lure. I use mushroom head jigs 1/8oz thin wire hook, when it get hung up on a weed give a shake and snap off the weed then they hit.

Deep weed line 15-22’ Ned, drop shot and deep crankin’ did the trick
