      Heavy rains a couple days prior has dirtied the water and rose the lake some. Caught on a Bayou State Lures Jambalaya Swim Jig in Black and Blue color.

      The crappie are starting to move up around cypress trees getting ready to spawn. Throwing a white/red jig around cypress trees is almost a guarantee to get your limit. Water temps around the upper fifties with most days cloudy. Outside temps mid day around 60 degrees with a 8-10pm high wind.

      Flipping cypress trees and laydowns. Bite was slow due to the pre-front coming through Louisiana. 12 mph winds, temperatures around 41 and water temps still cool around 50 degrees.
