Had heavy rain and thunder Storms move through the area Thursday Night. Creeks were blown out. Lake water temps dropped 8-9 degrees. Caught 3 small keepers 3 fish that did not measure 1 Large Female that weight 6.33 Conditions were tough but the one fish made up for the lack of success I had on the outing All fish came off isolated wood 6-8Ft of water. Presentation was very slow drag was not hopping or pumping the jig

Bass where moving up, some bass was spawning. Most of my fish came from 3 foot of water or less. The area I was fishing had matted water willow stems. Ended up finishing 6th in the BFL.

Buzzbaits and frogs in the emergent vegetation will produce some bites, especially in low light conditions. Up river, where there is more current, fish are relating to current breaks. Spinnerbaits and jigs work well in the current breaks.

Went and practiced in the heat of the day for tournament and caught some good fish slow rolling the spinner bait.
