Anyone looking to catch striped bass should start by scanning ledges up and down this lake with their electronics to find schools of baitfish along the top of the ledge. Once found, live shiners can be dropped deeper off the drop to entice the striped bass for an easy meal. However if using lures tie on a large swimbait with a 1/2oz jighead and bounce it down the ledge pretty slow just to keep it kicking but make sure to use a real natural color such as a transparent color so they dont get a good look at it before engulfing the bait. This has been producing several 5+ lb stripers lately. By doing this you might even land a nice catfish from time to time. Largemouth bass can be caught flipping 1/2oz baits around laydowns as a good reaction strike.
