The lake is pretty much lilly pads around the shore this year. I had lots of action throwing the frog up to shore and pulling it over the lilly pads. My biggest bass of the day, the 20.5" MONSTER shown in the pic came from fishing an inside corner that was shaded by trees. The pounded the chatter bait soon after it hit the water. WOOHOO!

Working edges of Lilly pads where the deep shade was wacky and weedless drop shot Mustad Apex drop shot hooks were amazing!

Caught some smaller bass on frogs shallow. Better fish came in 4-7' around grass. Grass did not look good, but the best of the worst held some small schools of decent fish.

Found plenty of Bass along the shade line, lilly pads and weed lines in 4-7 fow. Caught several on a popper, but the best bait was a weight/less stickbait. This is a shallow lake with a 10mph limit, perfect for kayak fishing.
