We fished the river on October 23rd and the 24th. We caught quality fish in any pocket directly off the river that had an abundance of shad. A buzzbait or spook got it done in the morning while a chatterbait and spinnerbait were the ticket once the sun got up. All in all it was a good weekend on the river.

We were throwing the near laydown wood on main river banks around 3-6 feet of water. We caught a mixed bag of largemouth and spotted bass using this technique.
