The water temp plummeted 15° in one week, fish moved off the rock pile and onto shallower weed beds just off the points in 5-6ft of water. Slow retrieve on a chatterbait with a little vertical jig action got the smallmouth going today. 7am-11am 1 perch 4 smallmouth 1 channel cat

Early morning bite was hot until about 0930 Fish were super active but not responding to topwater baits. The chatterbait got the job done!
