Fishing was very slow, I caught one short and a 3lb3oz fish for big fish in our club tournament which was good for second place. 4lb 9oz won. Gives you a good idea how slow it really was.

Per usual, tons of pressure and tons of submerged grass. Most currently caught slow rolling the shallows.

Fall transition is in full swing. Bass have definitely pulled back into the thicker, greener grass. Most effective has been casting into shallow with slow hops toward drop offs to the thickest clumps of submerged grass and ripping through. Also, immediately after the cast letting the jig sit for a few seconds has produced some bites as well.

9-3-21. Started the day @ 0900. It was a slow morning, the only bite was a squeaker from a dock. The wind picked up around 11am and I moved out to 8-10 ft. Fishing the white "Chatty Kathy" across the top of submerged grass. Over the next two hours, I was able to pick up 3 keepers and lost a fourth. And still got her on trailer before the rain!
