The water was fairly high so we targeted hard edge banks with at least 3’ of water and some current. It seemed like most of the better bites came off of larger stumps and vertical targets more so that actual laydowns. Most of the fish came on a Bojangles Cook craw which is not available currently on Omnia. We also threw a fighting frog for a few bites. The Shimano Mastiff performed well again today and it really shines in flipping situations.

Largemouth were found in some of the back sloughs that had deeper water since it was coming down. Finding the areas that didn’t have slimy moss were key to finding fish as it was a good indicator. Some fish were also found on light current breaks using the same d bomb flipping technique!
