Its been fun on pom de terre everything has been working but a motion fishing mo craw finesse jig has been my best bite. Starting to catch a few on the a rig, they are fairly shallow still and can also be caught with a spinnerbait. A wiggle wart and a rock crawler will get you lots on numbers of fish with a nice one here and there. Best bite has been on the main lake channel banks or back in the creeks on the secondaries. Jerk baits are also working back in the creeks.

Use you favorite jig. The jig I used isn’t listed so the finesse jig works too. I prefer a 1/2 size flipping jig, or a 5/16oz finesse is good.

Fishing the shore by Nemo Campground. Electric chicken shad on a 1/16oz jig head produced well. Fish seemed to prefer a bronze hook over red. Cast and count to 15, then reel slowly and let the bait go over the top of the rocks. Best bite was 4-5PM
