The day after hurricane Ida my buddy Matt and I headed out on the lake to search for some largemouth bass. The lake came up 5 feet over night due to the flooding so we knew it would be tough. It was a grind all day I believe the fish were very confused and didn't know where to set up. He caught 2 back to back on a black n blue chatter bait. I caught one fish using a Rabid Baits shaker worm Texas rigged with a 1/8 ounce weight dragging it along the bridge. Nonetheless still a great day on the water!

Throwing a white or black and blue thunder cricket chatter bait with a trailer matching the color of the chatter bait. Throwing the bait in the 1-2 foot grass flats of the lake. When the chatter bait gets stuck in grass rip the rod to get the chatter bait loose in a short fast rip motion. The bass will eat the bait when it comes flying out of the grass and stops.
