The lake has been treated so many times this summer that grass/foliage is nearly non-existent and it's hard to find any fish. The docks/shade produced numbers, but not many keepers. Spinnerbaits got a lot of bites.

The Picasso was a spinnerbait in half oz. The blades were painted white also. The biggest fish came on the spinnerbait and the Slobberknocker caught nice fish also. The fish were in 4ft of water or less in the upcoming Lilly pads. You could catch smaller fish under docks on a jig.

Popping swimbaits off the bottom by stumps and sunken trees. And they were crushing them

Not much action. only 3 largemouth a smallmouth and a perch were caught. the smallmouth came in 15 feet of water the rest came in 4ft or less. The smallie came on a drop shot rigged with a d-worm wacky hooked. The first largemouth was on a d-worm on a weighted wacky hook and the second largemouth was on a Manns wake bait, chrome and blue. My buddy caught the last largemouth on a twin tail Yamamoto skipped under a dock. His perch also was on a drop shot black flat worm. We fished from 7:30 to 1:30.

The lake was sprayed for weeds recently and was experiencing an Alge bloom. Fishing deep only produced small fish on the drop-shot. The best fish were shallow, 2-4ft of water over the top of weeds.
