Fish were slowly making their way to prespawn transition spots as the water warmed throughout the morning. Deadsticking a jerkbait led to slow rolling a OG Slim. The key to getting bites was to kill the bait occasionally, especially when you’ve bumped cover.

Caught lots of bass on scattered stumps and laydowns dragging a jig. The bigger bass seemed to prefer any wood that was a little deeper.
