Spotted and largemouth bass: The lake is still at winter pool (50-52*), so structure is key. Fallen trees/brush is scarce but still holds fish. The docks and marinas are also showing fish as they stage for the spawn. Presentation has to be slow and small/medium. This week, I’ve been using lighter Ned jigs with Googan Rattlin Ned worms to good effect. Go slowly and thoroughly work an area before moving on.

Had some luck on the chatterbait around docks and banks. Switching between steady retrieve all the way back and slower retrieve with rod twitches/half reel twitches for quick action. Golden shiner was working during overcast part of the day and green pumpkin shad during sunnier part of the day.
