Was able to win a club derby on Saturday by fishing main and secondary points leading to spawning areas. The majority of my bigger bass came out of 6-8 ft. of water by throwing a Spro RkCrawler around the points. To cull up a very small keeper I found some fish out on Livescope and first drop with a damiki rigged ned bomb and caught my second biggest of the day. If y’all are fishing a lake similar to Norfork, a great way to approaching these lakes are fishing channel swing banks and long tapering points. Medium diving crankbaits and jigs are a must have when fishing highland reservoirs. Hopefully these tips will help you out on y’all’s next trip out on the water.

Only got out for a couple of hours. Managed to get on some fish. The kentuckies bit good. Caught one first cast throwing a firetail(wart) in the mouth of a creek arm on a dock. Made a move and started catching them good on a tube in 12 foot off of docks on the good ol tube with a 1/4 Oz jig head.

We had most success side scanning small schools of shad. Almost verticaly dropping a Neko rig on them. Almost never marked the fish we caught. almost always got the bite on the fall. no need to fish the bait on the bottom very long.
