Working the laydowns near secondary points offered a lot of activity. Shakey heads were best around the laydowns and the chatterbait was best on secondary points that were open with no cover, lots of shad chasing going on. They were shallow in about 2ft of water and showing lots of signs of pre and spawning activity. Water temp was ridiculously warm, we launched in the hot arm and I stayed in that area and water temps were ranging from 76- 79 degrees, all the way up the hot arm was reporting 80 degree plus temps. Cold arm was producing a lot more for the other anglers in the club that went that way. The wind was blowing about 10-15mph S to SW.
