As fish move out of shallow bedding areas look for shoals in deeper water (12-15 feet) just outside these shallow bays. Both largemouth and smallmouth can be caught by staying back from shoals and weeds around shoals and making long casts with a Jackall Rerange over the top of shoals and ripping it through the weeds. Slowly work in closer and flip a jig around the weed and rock to target less aggressive fish.
