Long cast and count it down to the desired depth. Slow retrieve worked the best.

Spent two days out here last weekend. On Day 1, as I try to do, I threw everything under the sun, trying to expand my knowledge/experience of the many ways to catch a bass. But after 6 hours of little to no success, it was time to catch some fish. I can't say enough about the Strike King Ocho stick worm, especially the Blu Craw pattern. I caught 8 spotties in two hours, ranging from 2.5 to 3.5 lbs. Which needless to say, saved the day. You can guess what I started with on day 2 on my way to 17 more beauties!

Love this Shimano line. Dragging the bait over the boulders didn't nick it at all.

Used the Shimano line with my braid mainline and loved how easily it was to tie the FG knot. Great drop shot line.
