As always caught several fish but most of them are 12”-14”. Did end up with decent bag. Had a 3.15 and 2.75 with 5 totaling 10.30. Fish are starting to move up on beds. Caught most on transition banks with lay downs. Bug and senko on trees and shakey head down the bank.

Prespawn patterns on points and secondary points to creeks. Also found success on shallow flats with grass near main river channel. A ton of small bass in this lake, but you can grind to find some bigger fish. Dropshot on points working shallow to deep or off deeper ends of laydowns

launched out of Carbide Park and worked our way down toward the dam. worked the bank near docks skipping the Senko to brim beads. Caught 3 keepers and 4 non keepers along a 150-yard stretch. spent the afternoon in one cove and caught 4 more keepers with the Senko. Caught 2 largest fish with a Strike King Popping perch in 2 feet of water in the back of the cove and lost 2 more.

New lake for us but productive. Weather was not favorable at all. Rain most all of the day, heavy at times. Heavy overcast the entire day. Air temperature was around 58 all day. In a 6 hour span, we caught 16 largemouth of various size. Most (and the larger ones) were caught on rip rap with a lipless crankbait. We had some success with a green pumpkin tube on a jig head. Also, some success on a green pumpkin Senko, wacky rigged on a drop shot around laydowns. Overall, just look for the "fishy" looking spots for fishing a river and be slow, thorough and persistent.
