Threw my cast out right over top some weeds. A couple of reels later this bass smashed my top water. The third or 4th one this season!

When casting these style jigs, it's best to let it sink to the bottom and then burn it over the weeds. As I was retreating the lure, I brought it up in the water column, and this bass destroyed it.
