Throwing Cranks shallow and working then out to first break. Also diagonal cast to shore bring it back to boat on fist break! Two different DT-6's Craw color and fire belly color with green top.

Was casting into 3ft of water and slowly cranking the dt 6 back out letting it dig into the bottom as retrieved back to me. Long casts dragging the dt from 3 to 8 feet of water.

This lake has large mouths and smallies. Caught some nice 3 pounders targeting fallen trees. Fish were tucked up tight to cover. We used the lightest weighted wacky hooks and paired it with our favorite stick bait. Weightless wacky rig will do the job as well. You want the rig to fall slowly to generate bites.
