Action on this fine lake had slowed and we often catch small "eating sized" pike here. So we work working a spot where the submerged weeds were transitioning into a line of reeds. Right on this edge I found a spot where some hog sized largemouth bass were holding and the pounded my double willow leaf spinnerbait! This can be a great lake and it can hold some huge bass and the Musky can be a nice surprise. Lots one that inhaled my spinnerbait two years in a row

We casted and reeled crankbaits for pike, musky, and bass. I hooked into a muskie but he got off and caught a nice bass on a jointed rapala. The rapala was blue and white.

Reeds
We sat in about 12-14 feet of water and would cast up to the reeds and work a texas rig worm 7" berkley powerbait watermelon seed. The worm would get hit most of the time on the fall of the bait or after a couple of pops bringing it back to the boat.
