Water temps have been heating up and the fish are moving, especially the smallies. We found some in 10 foot of water and we were dragging the ned rig on the bottom. Love the yamatanuki 3.5 inch and decided to try the smaller 2.5 on a ned head. Works perfect!

Docks
Flipping docks with the smallest weight you can get away with, as you want the fall of the lure to be slow. Most bites happen on the drop so be ready for a peck.

The bass are transitioning from their winter homes to them shallows. On sunny days they will move up in the afternoon from 12’-15’ of water to 4’-6’ to feed. Use a Megabass SV-3 in Wakasagi without a trailer to simulate a school of baitfish. Use it near weed lines in that transition area of 6’-10’. No special action needed, just cast and slow roll it along the weed lines. You’ll be on the fish in no time.

There are tons of smallmouth up shallow cruising, feeding up, and preparing to spawn. Look for sandy bottom in the flats between 2’ and 8’ of water. If you find one, you’ll find a bunch. Throw the Megabass Ito Vision 110 in a Gill color to imitate a wounddd perch / bluegill. Just use a jerk, jerk, pause retrieve. Let the lure Ouse from 2-4 seconds. You’ll be on them in no time.

Wind was blowing pretty well. Caught 4 bass in 6-8 foot of water above scattered rocks and soft bottom. They were loving the 6th sense provoke jerkbait. Changed it up with 2 twitches to 3 twitches with a little pause.
