January 27th I went out to Leaser lake to do some ice fishing with my buddy Matt and I. We were going to fish down by the dam but there were already some guys there when we got there. So I went to a deer channel where I have open water fished. In 35 foot of water we found a school of panfish. We caught crappie, bluegill, and perch all day long. We were fishing with small tungsten jigs tipped with wax worms as well as soft plastics. Also caught some using a medium size tungsten jig tipped with a live fathead minnow.

Labor Day my buddy Matt and I headed out to the lake to do some fishing. I was able to catch 2 small largmouth punching the thick grass with a Tokyo rig with two 1/2 ounce tungsten weights on it paired with a strike king structure bug. I caught one more small bass on a Berkley flatworm drops shotting the grass edges in 15-25 foot.

Came out to the lake after work for a bit. Trying to learn livescope on my kayak. Right before leaving found a nice bit of grass left over from last season in 20ish foot of water. Dragged it super slow and caught a 4 pounder. Only fish of the night but a good one!

Got on some large pickerel and a couple bass right before a storm headed in. Action on the Berkeley square bills gets hit everytime. Definitely go with a shallow diving as this lake isn't very deep in some areas
