Lake Wimico, Panama City Bassmasters tournament. Launching from the Abercrombie boat ramp, this 10 Feb 2024 tourney is our 2nd stop. The crankbait was catching big fish, but all the wrong species. (27.5" Redfish, 12lb Mudfish) I managed to bring in a few keepers on the crank, but after a 5 hr dry spell, out came the Senko which came through. Should have fished it more, but it got me my last 3 fish + a cull fish in the last 1hr 20min. The fish weren't huge but had a limit. Only 6 Limits were brought in. Video comes out on Gary's FishTales on 15 Feb 24 @ 0500ET. "Senko and Crank Baits: Secrets to Catching Bass at Lake Wimico's Tough Tournament"

Randi and I had a good day fishing down in Florida this weekend. It was cold, raining and windy but we were still able to get some good bites on the Culprit black emerald 7.5” worm and the Berkley slobbernocker blades jig around matted grass and grass lines 👍🤙

Flipping any matted grass and Lilly pads works great. Also try using the 10” original worm by Culprit around trees and lay downs.

I caught over 25 bass in 4 hrs, Fishing a 5" Tin Foil Yum Dinger (wasn't a color option in the Hotbait Box) in 2' of water and less along the cypress trees and grass lines. My big bass, which was almost 4 lbs, came on the Jackhammer in 6' of water on Lake Wimico, 24 Mar 24. Video will be out on Gary's Fish Tales, 27 Mar 24 @ 4:45pm.

Beautiful Sunday afternoon at Lake Wimico, Started off with a Jointed Swimbait, but no takers. Pulled quite a few in initially on the Yum dinger and a few on the Hybrid- Hunter, but they really went after the 6" Speed worm in shallow grass around the shores of the lake. I fished it like a regular worm and not swimming it. Pulled in 22-25 fish in 5 hrs. Most were Small keepers with a few 1 1/2 and big on was around 2 .75lbs. No giants but lots of action. Video will be out on the 8th or 9th of May @ Gary's Fish Tales

The bites were abundent for most of the Bluebird sky day, but for every 5-6 Dinks, It would only mean, Maybe 1 Keeper(12"-15"). And the Keepers were not big. But hey, Thats fishing. Got some salt water species too(Flounder).
