Focus on throwing on the edges of the greenest grass and mats near the mouth of the creeks and located around main lake points. Slow roll the swimbait just enough to keep it from touching the bottom or getting hung up in the vegetation. Popping your rod tip every so often and dead sticking it for a few seconds after also works.

Sight fishing on beds. They were mostly built in the sand in the shallowest and sunniest spots. The Shimano Mastiff 6lb line worked great. I caught about 20 bass without retying and they were all between 2 and 5 lbs.
