Flipped some jigs around what was left for weeds. Finding green weeds defiantly helped hold fish. A lot of the weeds are dying fast. Water temp was around 55°-58° in most areas of the lake. Picked up a few on cranks in that 5'-6' of water range.

Fish were willing to bite. Jigs, jigworms, blade baits, swimbaits. It is nearing spawn although we did not see any fish on beds.

Started out fishing for smallies and ended up only catching a few dinks, moved to flipping a jig with the rage craw and that was the deal today out on washington. Fished all sides of the lake and caught fish off docks, my brother was also throwing a T-rig googan baits bandito bug. Couldn't keep them off the line today. Not sure what it was about today, besides the fact that the water warmed up 2 degrees over the course of the day. Which may have pushed more fish in shallow. Later in the day was better; which may have been because of the cold front that came through yesterday.

Throwing a chatterbait up towards shore had the prespawn makes going crazy and was a lot of fun catching lots of numbers of fish.

Slow dragging over rocks and gravel was key. Most caught in 10-12 feet, but also caught a few as shallow as 5 feet. Fish seemed to like the smaller profile Ned Rig the best, but also were catching them slow retrieving small keitech swim baits

Good lake for some prespawn smallmouth. has a lot of them in it, not a lot of big ones, but if you want numbers this is your lake. Was catching fish anywhere from 3-8ft of water. Finding some isolated rocks and hard spots was definitely a key factor. And if you have never used a flat worm before, you are truly missing out. I used to not believe in maxscent, until I was fishing with a buddy and he was out fishing me by a crazy amount on maxscent. So I decided to give it a try, and I haven't looked back since. Is it expensive, yes. But in my opinion it is totally worth it,

Great memorial weekend on Washington. Fishing isolated rock clumps and some sparse weeds anywhere from 4-10 feet of water. Using mega 360 to isolate and make multiple casts over the area. Fish seemed to be stacked up in one area, caught a lot of largies out there as well. Trying to sit the flat worm in one spot as long as possible while shaking the slack was the best way to get bites.
