We noticed that bites were being short striked from using green pumpkin color on the swim jig and changed my jig and swimbait to a electric Chartreuse and it look like it did the trick on catching lots of bass that day. One of the things I like about the power swimmer is that it last a long time on your jig compare to other soft plastic swim baits! I highly recommend it if your looking for long lasting soft plastic trailers. Also the megabass pitch prefect did an amazing job pulling out the bass in thick cover!

Feb 17, 2022. A buddy and I decided to head out there today for some winter fishing knowing that it will be a tough bite to get it and we got all of our set-up with Conventional and finesse set-ups. We threw pretty much everything that you can think of, but fish weren’t biting after our first fish we caught. 15 minutes into our fishing my buddy casted out a soft swimbait and slow rolled it on top of grass mats and lilipad steams and out of nowhere a 3 pound bass smoked it. After that bite it was cold and very windy for the next few hours and not a single bite since then.

Hot summer day with water temp of 68 degrees. Lake terral during this time of year gets very thick grass all around the lake and my go to rig is a cover scat paired up with the haymaker hook. This technique allows me to pitch and flip in mini covered areas and grass lines with a finesse and power technique to allow the most finicky fish to be caught during this time of year. Just make sure it falls to the ground and pop it a few times. Usually by the third pop is when I tend to a bite.

Middle of summer out in lake terral Washington. One of my go to baits is the jackhammer 1/2 oz bait with a golden blade during the hot summer months catches a lot of attention to many large mouth. I like to so roll it in grass lines and that day I was able to catch four 3.5 pound bass.
